In our 8th year of partnership, STAMP produced the GLSEN Respect Awards in Los Angeles, honoring Kerry Washington, Zendaya, DC Entertainment, and more. They joined nearly 600 guests including Tony Goldwyn, Billie Lourd, and Milo Ventimiglia to help raise money and awareness for GLSEN’s life-saving work. STAMP managed all aspects of the event including venue coordination, guest management, event collateral, and event production as well as working with scriptwriter Ira Madison III to help tell GLSEN’s story on stage. For the fourth year, STAMP produced the annual Spotlights luncheon for the International Center of Photography which shines the light on female photographers and their work. This year over 300 guests joined us to hear honoree Lynsey Addario in discussion with Katie Couric – and what a discussion! Addario captivated the sold-out room as she shared stories from the front lines of conflict in places such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya. And the Tony Award Goes To…
Broadway’s biggest stars hit the red carpet at Radio City Music Hall for the 71st Annual Tony Awards. Kevin Spacey hosted Broadway’s biggest night, where Bette Midler, Cynthia Nixon, Kevin Kline, Ben Platt, and Laurie Metcalf were among the award winners. Winners met with press at the STAMP-produced Winner’s Circle. The event was the last of 3 press events that STAMP managed, including the nominations announcement which were broadcast live on CBS by Tony winner Jane Krakowski and Tony nominee Christopher Jackson in May. GLSEN + You = Change
For the 8th year, STAMP produced the GLSEN Respect Awards in New York. With support from Dr. Jill Biden, Zachary Quinto, Carla Gugino, and nearly 500 guests, GLSEN raised over $1.25 million to fight bullying in K-12 schools. STAMP managed all aspects of the event, including a well-kept surprise recognition of GLSEN’s Executive Director, who celebrated 15 years with the organization. Photo Credit: Getty Images
A Chef’s Success!
STAMP was thrilled to work with first-time client, City Harvest to produce its annual gala: A Night of Practical Magic. And magic did happen, raising $2.7 million dollars for the organization – enough to feed close to 10,000 New York City families for a year! Zac Posen hosted the show, with appearances from Honoree Chelsea Clinton, Chefs Eric Ripert, Masa and Geoffrey Zakarian, as well as Martha Stewart, Chrissy Teigen, and Donna Shalala. The Infinity Awards & Beyond!
STAMP has produced the International Center of Photography’s spring gala for the past 2 years. This year, the 33rd Annual Infinity Awards returned to Pier Sixty. All eyes were on the big screens for a compelling series of films showcasing the work of this year’s winners, including Sophie Calle, Vasantha Yogananthan and Lifetime Achievement Award winner Harry Benson. Point Honors the Best and Brightest
The Point Honors New York Gala was held at the Plaza Hotel this year and STAMP was delighted to work with returning client Point Foundation, as they raised money to support their misson of providing scholarships to LGBTQ youth. The evening, hosted by comedian Emma Willman, honored Dustin Lance Black, Uzo Aduba, and Thomas Roberts for their inspirational work, and featured special performances by Emily Skeggs and Matt Doyle. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel enjoyed a glitzy night out as new parents. The two were honored by GLSEN in LA this year and returned the favor by modeling GLSEN’s new “Respect” baseball hat on stage! Other honorees included Zachary Quinto, YouTube, and “Student of the Year” Mars Hallman. It was another great night in celebration of GLSEN’s life-saving work! STAMP provided overall event production and guest management.
GQ honored the most gentlemanly celebs for the annual Gentleman’s Ball. This year Mark Ruffalo, Victor Cruz, and Ian Somerhalder were feted by host Nick Cannon and more than 200 guests in the West Village. After the program, DJ Chelsea Leyland made many a tie come undone as guests danced the night away. STAMP managed event logistics and production for the 8th year.
For the first time, STAMP produced the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s 7th Annual Blossom Ball, where co-founders Padma Lakshmi and Tamer Seckin, MD hosted close to 400 guests at one of the inaugural events at Cipriani 25 Broadway. Celebrity guests like Christian Slater, Norman Reedus, Russell Simmons and Andy Cohen toasted to a night of endometriosis research and awareness. With a menu curated by Padma herself, guests enjoyed an Italian feast amidst florals of all colors and shapes to enhance the ballroom’s midnight garden theme. Later, Red Baraat and Disc Jockey Miles Guthrie kept guests dancing well into the night. STAMP managed all aspects of this event—logistics, guest management, sponsor activations and production.
