Jason Burlingame and Margaret Crisostomo co-founded STAMP Event Management in 2006. They met when they both worked on the GLAAD Media Awards in 2000. When Margaret moved to New York a year later to join Jason as part of the in-house events team at GLAAD, they knew it was the start of something special. During their time there, they loved every minute, but knew that they wanted to branch out and see if they could make it on their own. They launched STAMP a few years later and the rest is history!
JASON BURLINGAME, Founder
Earning a degree in Theater Production from Occidental College in Los Angeles, Jason’s expertise is in technical production and show management. He has served as producer on several live award and variety shows throughout his career.
Before co-founding STAMP, Jason was the Director of Special Events at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) for more than 10 years. During his tenure, he oversaw the development and growth of the national special events program including the corporate sponsorship program, the production of the GLAAD Media Awards and, ultimately, negotiated and Co-Executive Produced the television broadcast of the GLAAD Media Awards on LOGO.
MARGARET CRISOSTOMO, Founder
Margaret’s event expertise is in front of house management, as well as ticketing, seating, guest management and sponsor activations. She has produced events with guest attendance ranging from 300 to 3,500 in banquet and theater style seating.
Prior to co-founding STAMP, Margaret worked at GLAAD for 5 years and oversaw the corporate fundraising program, growing the revenue for Special Events to close to half of the organization’s annual operating budget. She also worked for Levy, Pazanti & Associates, an event coordination company in LA and the Children’s Action Network, a national non-profit. She graduated from UCLA.
